Project Description

I did my first solo ice-cycling expedition in Ladakh, India, in 2017. I cycled for over 200km through the rugged Trans-Himalayan terrain with the temperature ranging from -5°C to -15°C and average altitude upward of 2500m. The itinerary included cycling across Chang La, which is one of the highest mountain passes in the world at 5360m, and riding on frozen Pangong Tso Lake and Indus River.
